Zero Commission Selling on Sagazo: How It Works

Sagazo takes no commission and no listing fee. You list your products, sell, and keep the full price. Here is how that works and what you handle yourself.

Sagazo charges sellers nothing. No commission on sales, no listing fee, no monthly charge. If you sell a kurti for ₹800, you get ₹800.

This post explains what that looks like in practice, and answers the question every seller asks sooner or later: if selling is free, how does Sagazo make money?

What zero commission means in rupees

Take a ₹500 sale. On a marketplace that takes 20% once commission, closing fees and other charges add up, ₹100 goes to the platform and ₹400 reaches you. On Sagazo, ₹500 reaches you.

One sale, small difference. A hundred orders a month, and it is ₹10,000. That is not a launch offer that quietly ends next year. There is no commission to discount in the first place.

One note for GST-registered sellers: the law requires a small deduction called TCS on payments made through the app. It is deposited against your GSTIN and you claim it back in your returns, so it is parked money, not lost money. The details are in our post on GST for online sellers.

What you handle

You pack your orders and ship them yourself. You pick the courier, you know what it costs, and you build that into your price. For nearby buyers, some sellers simply deliver themselves.

If you would rather not deal with couriers at all, Sagazo can handle delivery for you. That is a paid service, and it is optional. Shipping your own orders costs nothing, and most sellers start that way.

If a buyer has a question or a problem, you talk to them directly. Sagazo has chat built in, so the conversation happens right where the order did.

What Sagazo handles

Your shop page and your product listings. The cart, the checkout, and the order records. Listing a product takes a few minutes, and you do not need a website, a domain, or a developer.

Sagazo also brings you buyers. Your products show up in the shop and in the feed, where people scroll, react and share, so a good product can travel a lot further than your own contact list.

How does Sagazo make money?

Not from your sales. There is no commission, and listing is free.

Sagazo makes money when sellers choose paid services on top, like having us handle delivery. Later, sellers may also be able to pay to advertise their products on the platform. Both are optional, and the free way to sell stays free.

How to start selling

Go to the become a seller page and tell us about your shop. We will contact you, set up your page with you, and put up your first products. If you already sell on WhatsApp or Instagram, bring your photos; they are usually all you need.
